Chief Eng. Loay M.Aboud is currently a Senior Maritime Lecturer at the Marine Engineering Technology Department, College of Maritime Transport and Technology, Arab Academy for Science & Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Marine Engineering Department, AASTMT, Alexandria, Egypt. Currently, he is involved in a Ph.D. program. He has experience of more than 15 years in the maritime industry. He worked at the Bureau Veritas classification society as a Marine Surveyor. His research area is focused on green energy studies such as bio-fuel and utilization of renewable resources in the Maritime industry
